Stormwater Work This Week

Starting this week (12/05/22) a contractor for the Township - Snyder Environmental Services - will begin installing a PVC liner into stormwater pipes at select locations throughout the Township. The benefit of installing a PVC liner into select stormwater pipes is to restore and significantly extend the life of pipes without having to excavate the roadway. Locations were selected due to complexities with excavating or recent roadway resurfacing efforts.

The contractor will move around to locations on Dogwood Lane, Poplar Church Road, Erford Road and Acri Road throughout the week and anticipates around a half day of work at each location. There will be traffic disruptions and delays due to reduced travel lanes during the lining work.

Additionally, Acri Road will be temporarily closed while work is occurring to the north of the intersection of Beverly Lane and Acri Road. The contractor anticipates that they will be at that location on Thursday, December 8th, beginning in the morning. Please use caution and be aware of workers and equipment if you happen to be driving through one of these work locations next week!
