Here’s yet another ruse to keep an eye out for.
Hav you ever taken your phone and scanned a QR Code, only to end up at a strange and unfamiliar website you know nothing about? Or have you ever gotten a QR code from an unfamiliar email address or text message that’s urging you to scan right away?
If any of these scenarios are happening, be sure not to scan the code, as this is the latest attempt at separating you from your money – a scam called quishing.
