News from East Pennsboro School District about Pa State Teacher of the Year Nomination

East Pennsboro School District announces:

We are Panther Proud to report that Dr. Lauren Emick, teacher at East Pennsboro Elementary School, was nominated for PA State Teacher of the Year! The Pennsylvania Teacher of the Year Program recognizes excellence in teaching by honoring K-12 teachers in public education who have made outstanding academic contributions to Pennsylvania's school-aged children. Dr. Emick made it to the semi-final round of the selection process, and it is such an honor to have such a fantastic educator be recognized for her amazing work.

Dr. Emick says, "I am truly honored and humbled to receive this recognition. So many teachers are doing wonderful things to support students in the classroom each day, and I am proud to shine a spotlight on the great things happening at East Pennsboro Elementary!
