As part of their Bronze Award, Girl Scout Troop 11419 rebuilt two flower beds at the entrance to Panther Station at Adams-Ricci Park.
The girls raised the beds, reinforcing the borders with new bricks and mortar, planting native perennials, and adding solar lights. They received discounts and donations from Home Depot, Highland Gardens, East Pennsboro Township and Karns.
The girl scouts will maintain the beds throughout the year. Participants include: Julia Bruhn, Calista Burchard, Cerise Comp, Kat Gaston, Leah Auteri, Gabby Noll, Adyson Wertz, Maddy Stone, Leah Proctor and Lauren Bryson.
