Emmanuel United Methodist Church Opens Community Closet

The Emmanuel United Methodist Church has opened a Community Closet for area residents in need of clothing, apparel, coats, backpacks and more. According to Chelsea Dincher-Fry, Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry, "We carry anything that can be worn." 

The Community Closet is now accepting adult clothing, teen clothing, children's clothing, backpacks, purses, socks and undergarments.

According to Dincher-Fry, the Community Closet was launched this fall and an open-shop day followed shortly thereafter. "Our intention is to schedule open-shop days on a quarterly basis," said Dincher-Fry.
