Officers Benefit from Mental Health Program

The National Alliance for Mental Health reported that in 2019, one in four police officers had suicidal thoughts. The Police Peer Support Program has been assisting the region's law enforcement officers and their relatives for 25 years now.

Scott Rood, an East Pennsboro Township Police Sergeant, has served as a peer for 12 years.
